Kimberly Ihres, a graduate from Beckmans College of Design (Stockholm, Sweden), has produced Typequality – a platform for discovering and sharing typefaces designed by women. Kimberly says “Role models are very important if young women are to dare to enter the world of typography. That’s why Typequality needs you – and everyone else who wants to contribute to a more balanced typographic room.”

The online database features links to the work of female typographers past and present, including Zuzana Licko, the Czechoslovakian creator of the beautiful Mrs Eaves font. Read more in this interview with Kimberly for Grafik.
